Cosmax Indonesia is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer to manage and evolve our hybrid infrastructure environment.

This role requires strong capabilities in physical infrastructure, network, cloud platforms, and automation, while also coordinating with internal teams and external technology vendors to ensure reliable and scalable IT operations.

The engineer will play a key role in ensuring that infrastructure is stable, observable, and scalable, while providing structured reporting and insights to support IT management and business decisions.

– Key Responsibilities –

Infrastructure & Cloud Management:

• Manage and maintain on-premise infrastructure, including servers, network devices, storage, and virtualization environments.

• Manage cloud infrastructure environments (AWS) including provisioning, optimization, and cost efficiency.

• Design and maintain high availability architecture, backup strategy, and disaster recovery readiness.

Network & Connectivity:

• Maintain and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewall, and internet connectivity.

• Monitor network performance and ensure stable connectivity across internal systems, cloud platforms, and external services.

• Coordinate with ISP and network vendors to resolve connectivity and infrastructure issues.

Infrastructure Automation & DevOps:

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and infrastructure automation using tools such as:

  • Terraform

  • Ansible

  • Cloud deployment tools

• Develop automation scripts to improve infrastructure provisioning and operations.

• Support containerized workloads (Docker / Kubernetes is a plus).

Monitoring, Reliability & Performance:

• Implement and manage infrastructure monitoring and observability platforms.

• Analyze system performance and proactively prevent incidents.

• Conduct root cause analysis and implement improvements to increase reliability.

Vendor & Technology Partner Management:

This role works closely with multiple external technology vendors, including cloud providers, infrastructure vendors, network providers, and system integrators.

Responsibilities include:

• Coordinate with vendors for infrastructure implementation, troubleshooting, and support.

• Monitor vendor performance and ensure service delivery meets operational requirements.

• Assist in technical evaluation and selection of infrastructure solutions.

• Work collaboratively with vendors to ensure system stability and continuous improvement.

IT Operations Governance & Reporting:

• Maintain proper documentation for infrastructure architecture and operational procedures.

• Provide structured IT operational reports for management including:

  • Layer 1 – Executive dashboard (availability, service health, uptime)

  • Layer 2 – Operational performance metrics

  • Layer 3 – Technical infrastructure insights and analysis

• Provide data-driven insights to support capacity planning and infrastructure improvements.

 

– Qualifications –

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• 3–5 years experience in IT Infrastructure, Network Engineering, or Cloud Operations.

• Strong knowledge of server operating systems (Linux and Windows).

• Experience managing enterprise network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewall, VPN, NAC).

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

• Familiar with Infrastructure as Code or automation tools.

• Experience working with external technology vendors or managed service providers.

• Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills.

• Good communication skills in English (written and verbal).

 

-Preferred Skills-

• Experience with:

  • Docker or containerized environments

  • CI/CD infrastructure pipelines

  • Infrastructure monitoring tools

  • Security hardening and compliance

• Experience supporting ERP or enterprise application infrastructure.

• Familiarity with hybrid infrastructure environments (on-premise + cloud).
